Our students deserve our highest-level of support. This 3-day conference includes high-profile speakers and breakout sessions that provide strategies for understanding equity through a trauma-informed practices approach. Participants will have the opportunity to hear keynotes and breakout sessions regarding the following themes: Native Equity, Economic Equity, LGBTQ+ Equity, Restorative Justice, Racial Equity, and Belonging through Dignity. Relationship Matters

In times of uncertainty and change, how do we find the resources within ourselves to adapt and stay connected? This 90-minute session explores the many ways we can support ourselves, connect with the people we need to, and develop a sense of security through challenging transitions. Educational professionals will be supported in cultivating their own resilience, holding space for their own emotions, and expanding their critical self-care process. In supporting students, dealing with colleagues and communicating with families, the concepts to be highlighted will be attunement, co-regulation, and creating safe learning environments. Strategies will be discussed of how everyone involved in the learning process can help to develop a sense of belonging – during this pandemic and beyond.
